The Spencer County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids in the manner and on the date herein specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, services, etc., necessary for:
Fueling Station
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the attention of Mark Thomas, Director of Operations, Spencer County Board of Education, 207 West Main Street, Taylorsville, KY 40071 on or before 10:00 a.m. EST, May 13, 2020. Bids must be clearly marked “Fueling Station” on the outside of the envelope in the lower left hand corner. The name and address of the vendor must appear in the upper left hand corner of the envelope. All bids must be received by the time designated and none will be considered thereafter.
Time and Location of Opening: Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., EST, May 13, 2020 at the Spencer County Public Schools Central Office, 207 West Main Street, Taylorsville, Kentucky 40071. All proposals which are in order, sealed, properly marked, signed, etc., shall be opened and read aloud. Any interested parties may attend. No immediate decision will be made concerning the bids submitted.
A decision will be rendered and recommended to the Board of Education for approval at their meeting on May 18, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. The board meeting will be located at the Spencer County Middle School, media center, 1263 Mt. Washington Rd., Taylorsville, KY 40071.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
State Prevailing Wage Rates are NOT applicable.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond, written on AIA Document A312, in the amount of 100% of the contract sum.
