INVITATION TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR: “Old” Taylorsville Elementary Asbestos Abatement Service

 

The Spencer County Board of Education is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified asbestos abatement contractors to safely remove asbestos materials from the “Old” Taylorsville Elementary School.

The Spencer County Board of Education is accepting sealed proposals through February 19, 2020 at 10 am at the address listed below at which the opening will commence on February 19, 2020 at 10:00 am at the same location. 

All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Spencer County Public Schools Central Offices, 207 West Main Street, Taylorsville, KY  40071 (502) 477-3250, on or before 10:00 am EST, February 19, 2020.  Proposals must be clearly marked “Old Taylorsville Elementary Asbestos Abatement Service” on the outside of the envelope.  All proposals must be received by the time designated and none will be considered thereafter.  Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked in lower left hand corner of envelope as:

At the specified dates and times, all proposals which are in order, sealed, properly marked, signed, etc., shall be opened and read aloud.  Any interested parties may attend.  No immediate decision will be made concerning the proposals submitted.

A decision will be rendered and recommended to the Board of Education for adoption at their regular meeting on February 24, 2020 at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be located at the Spencer County High School.
